During your screening we methodically examine the lips, cheeks, tongue, floor of the mouth, palate, and throat for subtle changes — patches of colour, texture shifts, lumps, or sores that linger. We also gently palpate the jaw and neck lymph nodes.
The vast majority of findings are harmless irritations, and we'll tell you so on the spot. When something warrants a closer look, we document it, re-check it on a short interval, or refer you promptly to a specialist — a measured process that removes the guesswork and the worry.

Who should be screened?+
Every adult, every checkup. Risk rises with tobacco and alcohol use, HPV exposure, and age — but a meaningful share of cases occur in people with no classic risk factors at all.
What symptoms should I never ignore?+
A sore that hasn't healed in two weeks, a persistent white or red patch, unexplained numbness, difficulty swallowing, or a lump in the mouth or neck. Any of these deserves a prompt exam — call us.
Does the screening hurt?+
Not at all. It's entirely visual and tactile — no instruments beyond a mirror, no scraping, no discomfort.
