Unclench. Finally.
Jaw pain, clicking, morning headaches, and ears that ache without infection often trace back to the temporomandibular joint. Treatment starts conservative and reversible — and usually, that's all it takes.

Calming an overworked joint
Your TMJ is among the busiest joints in the body — moving thousands of times daily for speech, chewing, and swallowing. Stress clenching, nighttime grinding, bite imbalances, and joint strain can inflame the system, radiating pain to the temples, ears, and neck.
We begin with a careful exam of the joint, muscles, and bite, then build a conservative plan: a precision splint to decompress the joint at night, habit and posture coaching, and targeted bite adjustments where the evidence supports them. Irreversible treatments are a last resort, not a starting point.
- Joint, muscle, and bite examination
- Custom stabilisation splints
- Habit, stress, and posture coaching
- Conservative before anything permanent
Benefits at a glance
Fewer headaches
Calming the jaw muscles frequently reduces tension headaches and facial pain.
Better sleep, better mornings
A night splint decompresses the joint so you wake without stiffness.
Protects teeth too
The same clenching that hurts your jaw is quietly wearing your enamel — one treatment guards both.
What to expect
We examine jaw movement, muscle tenderness, joint sounds, and bite mechanics.
A custom-balanced appliance rests the joint and retrains muscle patterns overnight.
Symptoms are tracked and the plan adjusted — most patients improve within weeks.
Questions, answered
My jaw clicks but doesn't hurt. Should I worry?+
Painless clicking alone often needs no treatment — many joints click harmlessly for years. We'll document it as a baseline and act only if pain, locking, or limited opening appears.
Can TMJ problems really cause headaches?+
Very commonly. The chewing muscles attach across the temples and sides of the head; chronic clenching keeps them in low-grade spasm that reads as tension headache. Patients are often surprised where the relief comes from.
Is surgery ever needed?+
Rarely. The overwhelming majority of TMJ disorders respond to conservative care. If your case is the exception, we'll refer you to the right specialist with complete records.
